Hi-Fi stereo

It is the Hi-Fi stereo market where the most demanding audio requirements can be found. This has traditionally been the exclusive domain of linear amplifiers with inefficient Class AB transistor amplifiers or Class A with valves since Class D amplifiers were considered to be not up to the task.

One requirement for these amplifiers would be high dynamic power in the amplifier. Clearly the efficiency of a Class D amplifier would greatly benefit this application if the audio quality could be matched.

DDFA technology can offer such a superior sound quality as has been proven in many listening tests. Not only that, but the integrated DSP functions give all the benefits of an integrated pre and power amplifier in one, without the degradation in dynamic range which could be associated with separate circuits.
