This angle sensor is based on the anisotropic magnetoresistive effect (AMR). The two internal (VCC1, VCC2) bridges enclose a relative sensitive angle of 45 degrees. The input field is a rotating magnetic field in the chip plane (parallel to the surface of package). This rotating field will make available two independent sinusoidal output signals. The output voltage may be set to any chosen voltage between 1.24 volts and 18 volts by selection of two external divider resistors. The TLV431 can be used as a replacement for ener diodes in many applications requiring an improvement in ener performance.
